Stella de Barros

As a vastly experienced Dental Implant Nurse, Stella has been with The Implant Centre nursing team since 2016. She began her Digital Intraoral Scanning career using the latest TRIOS unit and was part of the team that built the clinic at The Implant Centre in 2019. Through this experience, Stella earned the title ‘Implant Nurse Practitioner’.

Stella’s role involves intra-oral digital scanning for all crowns, bridges & dentures, checking the integration of implants, taking normal impressions when clinically required, triaging emergency patients and removing sutures. She enjoys creating digital impressions that are not only more comfortable for our patients but are much more accurate than conventional impressions, this cutting-edge technology is at the forefront of dentistry. Stella is very proud to have been so involved in the development of the clinic.

The aspect of this role Stella most enjoys is reassuring patients and helping them feel calm throughout the process. She loves the 3d impression machine too… “No mess, no downtime, and it’s excellent for the patient’s comfort”.

In her own time, Stella enjoys spending time with her family and long walks on the Brighton seafront.
