Instant Implants & Teeth

Less surgery, less time, and no need for a gap or denture.

In many instances it is possible to remove a tooth and place an implant immediately into the extraction socket (an ‘instant implant’). This is often the case near the front of the mouth, and the procedure can be applied to a single tooth or multiple teeth being replaced all at once.

It is often also possible to make a temporary crown at the time of the extraction and implant placement, which is then attached immediately onto the implant (an ‘instant tooth’).

This means that a patient may come in with a failing tooth, have it removed, and an implant immediately placed into the socket, and have a temporary crown fitted immediately onto the implant, all in the same day.

Patients love the speed and simplicity of treatment and the fact that they need never wear a denture.

Although it may not be possible for every case, you will be told at your implant assessment whether this rapid form of treatment is an option for you.
