Peter: Full Mouth Implant Treatment
All of Peters teeth replaced using Four Implants (All-on-4)
Pete, a jazz maverick who’s failing teeth were causing him to consider giving up playing.
Treatment overview
-
Peter is a well-known jazz saxophonist whose greatest love was performing his music to a live audience. But he had almost given up playing to his fans because of his teeth. Not only were they extremely unsightly, but they were also very loose and sore.
Despite the best efforts of his dentist and hygienist, it was obvious to everyone that Peter’s teeth were not going to last long. He had seen a number of other dentists for their opinion on what could be done, but they all said he would need to wear dentures for a significant period - something that would make playing the saxophone impossible. Frankly, he was desperate when he came to The Implant Centre to see what we could do.
-
It was obvious from his x-rays that we would not be wanting to save any of his natural teeth. The real issue then was how best we could transition his current failing dentition to an implant-supported one. After much discussion with Peter, we decided to remove all of his remaining teeth and replace them with beautiful implant bridges, fitted the very same day.
The key to the success of this approach is the meticulous planning of the case beforehand and having great communication between the different clinical and laboratory Teams involved in Peter’s treatment.

Peter was overjoyed with his amazing new teeth. Not only can he eat and smile with confidence, but he can continue to play his beloved Jazz music.
