Laura started her career in dentistry in 2004, working her way up from Trainee to Senior Dental Nurse. She obtained her Certificate in Oral Health Education in 2008 and ran a Children’s Preventative Dental Unit for many years.
In 2013 she graduated from Kings College London as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist, and was awarded the Kings 2013 ‘Best student in clinical hygiene skills’ prize. She continues to attend courses and lectures regularly to keep up to date with the latest advances.
Laura is compassionate, caring and gentle. She is a committed advocate of preventative dentistry striving to empower, encourage and motivate her patients to improve their oral health, which in turn aids to improve their overall general health. Laura works hard to build strong bonds with her patients and is skilled in treating nervous patients she takes the time to tailor each appointment to suit the individual patient’s needs and tolerances.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going on holiday and experiencing new places and cultures with her husband and young son.
Laura is keen to promote oral hygiene to the younger generation, she regularly volunteers in her free time to provide oral health motivation sessions to local preschool and primary school children.
