Sarah qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1989. After working in the NHS, private practice and in hospitals within maxillo-facial surgery units, she returned to Guy’s obtaining a Masters Degree in Periodontology in 1994.
She was accepted onto the Periodontic Specialist Register in 2000. Until recently she has split her time between periodontal practice and a teaching post; teaching undergraduate students in the periodontal department at Guy’s Hospital for over ten years.
Sarah has worked in Sussex for many years providing a comprehensive range of surgical and non-surgical therapy.
She has built an excellent reputation with dentists and their patients in this region. She is well known for her caring and sensitive approach to periodontal patients, and the results she achieves with her treatment. Sarah is comfortable working with people who suffer from dental anxiety, having also taught in the Sedation and Special Care department at Guy’s Hospital.
She regularly attends periodontal courses and meetings to ensure she is up to date with current research and clinical techniques and is a member of The British Society of Periodontology.
Sarah is involved in the practice’s extensive education programme, lecturing regularly to local dentists and hygienists.
She lives in Surrey with her husband, two children and their dog.
