Laura started her dentistry career in 2009 as a student dental nurse in general practice. Along the way, she worked as head nurse in general practice, as an orthodontic nurse, she gained her NVQ assessor qualifications and spent a few years travelling around Sussex and London training student nurses. 

In 2016 she enrolled on the Oral Health Science foundation degree at Essex University to start her journey to become a Dental Hygienist. Laura qualified with Distinction in 2018.

Laura is passionate about all things ‘health and wellbeing’ and educating patients on how oral health can impact their overall health, providing it as part of her day-to-day patient education.

Laura is currently studying for a foundation degree in ‘Nutrition and Immunity’ which she hopes to complete in Autumn 2024.

Outside of working at The Implant Centre Laura also runs advanced skincare clinics in Sussex, and enjoys socialising with friends. She has a young son who keeps her very busy.
