Laura started her dentistry career in 2009 as a student dental nurse in general practice. Along her way she has worked as a head nurse in general practice, worked as an orthodontic nurse, gained her NVQ assessor qualifications and spent a few years travelling around Sussex and London training student nurses.
In 2016 she enrolled on the Oral Health Science foundation degree at Essex University to start her journey to become a Dental Hygienist. Laura qualified with Distinction in 2018.
Laura has a passion for all things health and wellbeing and has a big passion for educating patients on how their oral health can impact their overall health and provides this as part of her day-to-day patient education.
Further to her existing training, Laura is currently studying towards a foundation degree in Nutrition and Immunity which she hopes to complete Autumn 2024.
Outside of working at The Implant Centre Laura also runs advanced skincare clinics in Sussex, enjoys socialising with friends and has a young son who keeps her very occupied.
