When I moved house, I went to a new dentist and at the first check-up, he noticed my denture and suggested that an implant would be much healthier and much better for me. And although I had sort of thought about implants myself, his reassurance confirmed that yeah, actually, I would go for this. He got the ball rolling by referring me to The Implant Centre. And so, I was well on my way. I really felt in his assurance that it would be the better option long term. It's what knocked the balance for me in going ahead with it.
I found it to be a nice, calming, very clean atmosphere at The Implant Centre, and the staff were extremely welcoming. I was okay about coming into surgery because I’d been for several appointments and knew what everything was like. I knew I was in safe hands really, that everybody was an expert.
I would recommend The Implant Centre. I found all the staff, the surgeons and everybody very caring. They explained everything moment by moment about what I was going through and how long it would take.
I wish I'd had my implants a lot earlier because having a denture made me feel old. It was one of those things you associate with being old, taking your teeth out at night. Some days it was a nightmare, it was uncomfortable, and pips got stuck under it, other days it was fine. It was beautifully made, but it just made me feel old. Now it's just great. I haven't got any of that carfuffle and it's like it never happened.
You know? I've got my teeth. Don't give me a moment's discomfort. Fantastic.
