Frances’ Patient Story: Single-Tooth Implant Treatment

Back to Video Library

Frances shares her experience of having single-tooth implant treatment at The Implant Centre, her tooth falling out and a huge gap to an implant and crown that feels completely natural.

  • It's just a lovely place to live in, Brighton, it's a beautiful part of the country.

My dentist made me a false tooth on a plate. I lost it along the seafront, I put it in my pocket and while I was walking it must have worked its way out. I went along the whole walk again, 17,000 steps to get to find the tooth, and couldn't find it. I phoned the seafront office in the morning and thought ‘Oh, I know the silly thing is that you think anybody would find it and hand it in’. That made me realise I needed to have an implant. So, I had a white filling for several years and then it corroded.

It just fell out one day. For me, the gap felt huge when nothing was there, and that made me very conscious of it. Oh, I thought oh, I can't be doing with this! I just can’t. I went to the dentist thinking, oh, she'll fill it up, it’ll be fine, she said, “Well, I would recommend you go to The Implant Centre.”

They were professional, warm, and friendly every stage of the way. The Implant Centre were great. I don't even notice it now at all, and I can't rate them any higher. I would not hesitate to recommend The Implant Centre.
