If you have one or more missing teeth, one option would be to provide a partial denture. The problem with these is that they can also be loose and uncomfortable. Particularly plastic dentures that we class as temporary dentures. However, you can have a metal framework denture that clips around the teeth and is therefore more secure. And many people find these quite successful in the long term.
Plastic dentures that we class as temporary dentures. They usually rely on adhesive or friction, which can then cause teeth to move. Occasionally you can have wires or clasps added to those, but they're never as comfortable as a metal framework denture. However, if your budget can stretch to it, then the ideal solution would be to have one or more implants with crowns fixed or bridges fixed to those implants, which gives you a much better long-term outcome.
