With new molars on both sides of her jaw she can now happily chew again.
Fran attended having had teeth removed at the back in the past that left her struggling to chew. She wanted to know if it would be possible to place some implants to provide her with more molars to help in this respect.
Assessment & treatment
Fran came to see us here at The Implant Centre to replace her upper left lower right and lower left first molars.
A CBCT was taken to confirm the how much bone we had available. We were able place all three implants on the same appointment under local anaesthetic. We placed small healing caps on top of the implants so that no further surgical appointments were required.
After a period of healing and osseointegration confirmed we were able to construct nice molar sized permanent crowns to match her existing adjacent teeth.
Fran now has large molars on both sides of the mouth and they have made a huge difference to her function and help to support the bite protecting the front teeth from wear.
